Common questions about CE marking

Clear answers about responsibility, documentation, changes and external review.

Does Verca provide CE certification?

No. Verca structures the work and keeps the evidence connected. The manufacturer is responsible for conformity assessment, technical documentation, the EU declaration and CE marking. A notified body is involved only when required by the applicable legislation and conformity assessment procedure.

What belongs in the technical file?

It depends on the product and applicable legislation. A technical file typically includes the product description, design, risk assessment, requirements, standards, calculations, test results, instructions, marking and the EU declaration.

What happens when the product or a document changes?

The change and new revision are recorded in the product history. Your team can see what is affected and which requirements, tests or documents need review.

Can external reviewers access the file?

Yes. Share a defined review pack with selected documents, questions and status in a separate review view. Reviewers only see what you choose to share.
